I've just had an email from Molly informing me that Hastings Rock have agreed to give all entrants in the Rock Band classes of the Hastings Musical Festival have a chance to get their music played on Hastings Rock Radio station. More information is on the Festival Website.

More work on the Musical Festival administration

Work on the Hastings Musical Festival administration site continues apace. The latest phase is the production of certificates. Unfortunately,. I have been unable to get the PDF conversion routine to handle a full A4 page image as a background, so we will fall back onto over-printing the certificates for this year, but I hope to have it cracked by the 2011 Festival. The only bits remaining to migrate from the old Microsoft Access database onto the PHP/MySQL solution are that of inputting marks and calculating the winners of the Aggregate trophies (of which there are more than 100!).
